31. That’s a Real Dense Thought
Neutron stars are the densest things we’ve found so far, even moreso than white dwarfs which have a million times less mass. If you’re wondering what that density even means, it is a term to explain how closely the atoms in it are packed together.

Size doesn’t always equal weight, after all. Another good example of scaling would be if you took a teaspoon of a neutron star, that teaspoon alone would weigh about the same as Mount Everest–which is about 1 billion tons (or, 900 billion kg).
