Medical Staff Share Things People Don’t Know About Hospitals

So it wouldn’t surprise me if this were to happen a bit. I’m sure the medical profession is populated by all kinds of people, including people who’d be willing to take advantage of their position to attain the occasional sneaky high. But am I supposed to understand that there are lots and lots of them?

It seems a little far-fetched that such a huge industry, with thousands of people in its employ all over the country, doesn’t have stringent safeguards. Is the only thing holding a doctor back from abusing their post a bond of trust? Gosh, I wish my work worked like that.
