MrBeast has triumphed over T-Series in a long-standing battle for the title of the biggest YouTube channel by the most subscribers. T-Series, an Indian music label known for uploading trailers and music videos, held the record for five years before being surpassed by MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, on Sunday.

With an impressive 269 million subscribers, MrBeast has now secured his place as the top channel on YouTube, surpassing T-Series and establishing a significant lead. Through nearly 800 videos, MrBeast has become renowned for his extravagant stunts, such as giving away private islands, participating in extreme challenges like being buried alive, and creating real-life renditions of popular entertainment like the Netflix show Squid Game.

In a statement shared on his platform, MrBeast expressed his satisfaction in surpassing T-Series, stating that he has finally “avenged” YouTube star Felix Kjellberg, also known as PewDiePie, who previously held the title. MrBeast also noted that his channel experienced its largest daily spike in subscribers, gaining over 2 million new subscribers on Saturday.

T-Series initially claimed the top spot in 2019 by surpassing PewDiePie, prompting the Swedish YouTuber to humorously acknowledge defeat in a music video. he’s achievement solidifies his position as the most subscribed individual and channel on YouTube, further expanding his influence and wealth on the platform.

In addition to his main channel, MrBeast has several other channels dedicated to gaming, philanthropy, and reaction content, each boasting tens of millions of subscribers. His generosity is evident in his channel description, where he states, “Do not email me asking for money, I give away money because it makes me happy,” referencing the substantial sums he has distributed throughout his YouTube career.

His net worth was estimated to be around $500 million by Forbes in 2022, and he was ranked first on the publication’s list of the top 50 creators in 2023. His success has garnered praise from influential figures like Elon Musk, who has actively encouraged video creators to engage with his platform X (formerly Twitter). MrBeast’s presence on X aligns with Musk’s strategy to attract creators and make the platform profitable.

Furthermore, MrBeast’s record-breaking achievement is a significant development for Amazon, which has secured him for a TV deal reportedly worth up to $100 million.
